Toll Free Number Saved My Real Estate Business

It goes beyond saying that a toll free number is an asset for any business and is capable of changing the face of a business forever. It saved my real estate business and changed it forever. I started my real estate business sometime back.  As a real estate agent I receive probably hundreds of enquiries every day and it is important for my business to answer all my customer’s questions. Being a home based business it was difficult for me to answer my customer’s questions all the time. It is not only tedious but also time consuming to answer same question for different customers over and over again.

I had quite a few good properties at my disposal and I have also put a contact banner in front of all my properties. Yet the response I got was not at all satisfactory.

My Problem

I started searching for the reason and found out that my communication system is weak. My customers often found my telephone engaged and also quite a few times I have missed their calls.  My customers were not only annoyed but also started losing confidence.  One day I faced a bizarre incident. One of my customers called me and I confused him with one of my relatives. I answered the call casually, which my customer misunderstood as lack of professionalism.   I was bewildered. Since I have published my personal cell phone number on the contact banners in front of my properties my customers call me on that number and it was difficult for me to identify each and every call.

Using a Toll Tree Number

I started searching for a solution and decided to use a toll free number (http://www.itelecenter.com/Toll-Free-Number.aspx). I can now record all my information so that it becomes readily available for my customers.  They now call my toll free number and get a list of options, from which they can choose according to their requirement. For example, “Welcome to ABC Real Estate Company. Press 1 to know about features of the house 2 to know about rooms 3 to know the age of the house…..0 to speak to me directly”.  Since I am using a toll free number my customers need not pay for the calls they are making. I also have the flexibility to change and customize my messages according to season, property or any occasion. It saves my time and labor since the information my customers receive is automated.  I also enjoy other benefits like call forwarding and receiving voice messages in my voicemail box.

My Private Number Remains Private

Because I publish my toll free number on all my business communication – business cards, brochures, flyers, banners – the privacy of my personal number is thoroughly maintained. I put my toll free number in the banners in front of my properties and my customers call me on that number. No more confusion! Now I am confident of answering my family and my customers.  Now my customers have no scope to doubt my professionalism.

Another added advantage of using this toll free number is its affordability. I do not need a new telephone connection or any expensive hardware or software to use this number. It can be used with any existing telephone connection. The number of queries I receive a day has also significantly shot up. My customers are happy, my business is doing well and my dream has come true.
